Welcome to our page for our discipleship ministry.  On this page you can take our four courses that are designed to walk you through different stages of your relationship with God.  If you will, four steps on God's path for your life.  These four courses are vital for you to be able to grow and understand how to walk with God.  Listed below is a summary of each course.  When you are ready, just click on the Discovering Church Membership listing to the left and go through the course.

It is important for you not to take these courses out of order because each course builds on the previous lesson.  If you attempt to take them out of order you will be confused.  The first is the basic of basics, explaining Pathfinders Church.  It also walks you through the basics of Christianity such as salvation, baptism, and communion.  All that you learn is based on the reality that you have surrendered your life to God by accepting Jesus Christ into your life.  So the first course helps you nail down those basics. 

Discovering Church Membership - 101

PURPOSE:

To communicate to those considering church membership what the church is about and what is expected of them if they join the church

CONTENTS OF STUDY:

            1- What the bible says about salvation

            2- What the bible says about baptism

            3- What the bible says about communion

            4- Learning about Pathfinders Church

            5- Church membership

After each person has completed this session they are eligible to join the church.  If they decide to join the church, they must sign a church membership covenant.

Discovering Spiritual Maturity - 201

PURPOSE:

            To disciple new church members in the four habits of a Christ follower

CONTENTS OF STUDY:

            1- How to study the bible

            2- How to pray

            3- How to serve

            4- How to fellowship

Discovering Your Shape for Ministry - 301

PURPOSE:

            To equip members in discovering how God has shaped them for ministry

CONTENTS OF STUDY:

            1- Spiritual Gifts

            2- Heart

            3- Abilities

            4- Personality

            5- Experiences

After each member completes this session they will have a personal interview with one of the pastors to help them understand their shape for ministry and how to get involved in a ministry.

Discovering How to Do Missions - 401

PURPOSE:

            To equip members on how to become missionaries in their local surroundings

CONTENTS OF STUDY:

 1- What does God want?  1 Tim. 2:4-5; Acts 17:31; Heb. 10:10

 2- What is God’s way of accomplishing what He wants?  Rom. 10:13-15

 3- What results from God accomplishing what He wants?  Matt. 16:18

 4- What does God’s church do?  Matt. 28:18-20

 5- What is church?

 6- The Big Picture (the vision and purpose of community and home groups)

 7- Home group characteristics

 8- What do you do in a home group?

 9- How to start a home group

10- Learning to share my faith

After completing this session, each individual will sign a service covenant.
