Not daily. Not weekly. Can you give 7 hours MONTHLY to a worthy cause?
Pathfinders Church is a small group of Christians who have a common vision. That vision is made up of six values we hold close to our hearts. Those values are community, cooperation, compassion, creativity, change, and character. Our vision involves making a difference in the relationships of families, helping our neighborhoods to become stronger, and assisting the underprivileged and poor to live a better quality of life.
What we need is volunteers. Volunteers that can commit just 7 hours per month to join and assist the church in fulfilling it’s vision. Those 7 hours will consist of three events. One event is a monthly service project in our community. It could be something simple such as cleaning a neighborhood street or handing out water bottles to construction workers. It could be something more detailed like serving a assisted living center or a homeless shelter. A second event is a small group meeting in a member’s home where you will share a meal and bible study about how to serve others and why it’s important to serve others. This event is essential for building relationships with the people you are serving with. In this small group you can find the encouragement you may need to handle your everyday struggles. The third event is our youth night where we offer games, food, and teaching for kids 1st - 12th grades.
