Pathfinders Church is currently looking for six individuals to offer leadership help in six categories:

1) Music

2) Teaching

3) Finances

4) Community Groups

5) Website

6) Service Projects

 

Our church's philosophy centers around a plurality of overseers / pastors who work together to oversee the overall function of the church.  Each of these overseers / pastors will serve as "tentmakers".  In other words, each leader will work a full time job outside the church and receive no income from the church.  This is how we can devote the majority of our budget to mission work.  Also, by having a group of overseers / pastors who share the leadership by focusing on just one area, none of the leaders should become overwhellmed but instead find strength in numbers. 

 

Concerning qualifications for these six individuals who God brings our way, they are listed below.

1) Be described by 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

2) Since these positions of leadership are in the pastoral role, each individual must

     be a man.

3) Married, single, or divorced can qualify

4) Your past doesn't concern us as much as your present.  We all make mistakes

     and go through hard times.  Are you currently walking God's path for your life?

 

Pathfinders Church currently has one overseer / pastor on staff.  His name is Matt Childress and is the founding pastor.  Matt currently works for Corporate Chaplains of America and does not receive any income from the church.  If you are interested in serving in any of the above listed areas of leadership, contact Matt Childress at 757-430-8069.
